2 EVENINGS OF PERFORMANCE ART
20th & 21st SEPTEMBER
WORKSHOPS, LECTURE, PANEL
& COMMUNITY GATHERINGS
16th TO 20th SEPTEMBER
Two evenings of live performance presenting a series of curated artworks. 10 artists acting under one roof. A kaleidoscopic and immersive experience in which the audience takes in a crisscross of topics, influences and cultural heritages.
Artist residencies, workshops, symposiums and contextual activities promoting community exchange in each city. This dialogue enriches the artists' research, generating content for new performances to be presented in subsequent events, cities and venues. It ensures that each event is not isolated but rather connected in an ever-growing and evolving community.
IMPORT/EXPORT is the result of a convergence of experiences whose culmination in a pilot event (Belgrade, Serbia 2020) sparked a greater desire to further research a new type of performance art platform. Its methodology format prioritizes transparency in a functional working environment, potentiating communication between its performing artists, artist networks and spaces presenting performance art. IMPORT/EXPORT is a transnational practice based project, igniting cultural exchange with new communities through live artwork and encouraging sound international partnerships. A curatorial handbook will be created from these experiences, to be published and distributed at the end of this first cycle of the project (2026).
